Mentoring has been shown to improve self-esteem, academic achievement, and peer relationships and reduce drug use, aggression, depressive symptoms, and delinquent acts. Volunteers will be screened and trained in research-based practices to effectively and safely make a positive impact in the lives of our members.

Hands-on training in running a live entertainment event. Training will be leveled from basic to semi-pro and members will operate various soundboard mixers, stage lighting equipment, and the components to which they interlink.
We’re offering periodical workshops designed for adults that will cover various topics in a fun and open environment. Some topics are: Resume Review and Interviewing Skills; Understanding and Addressing Family Stress; Nutrition and Quick Meal Prep; College Prep for Parents; and Personal Safety and Self-Defense.
